Hey There

We’re Liane and Michelle, two friends brought together by a shared love of presence, creativity, and connection. At heart, we’re both drawn to the quiet magic that happens when women come together in the right setting.

This retreat is an extension of our friendship, our passions, and the things we love to share. Here’s a little more about who we are.

Michelle - your yoga teacher

Jan Michelle Serafim

Yoga, Pranayama, & Meditation Teacher

Jan Michelle is a London-based yoga teacher with Portuguese roots, originally from Lisbon. She has been teaching yoga for over a decade, with a foundation in Classical Yoga from The Yoga Institute in Mumbai—India’s oldest yoga school. Her path deepened through years of study in Mysore under master Vinay Kumar, where she trained extensively in Prana Vashya Yoga, pranayama, and yoga for spinal health and mobility.

Over time, and especially since becoming a mother, Jan Michelle’s approach has evolved to centre on individualised, breath-led practices that honour the uniqueness of each body (hormonally, anatomically, and emotionally). She believes yoga should support women through all phases of life, with a special focus on nervous system regulation and sustainable wellbeing, rather than performance or aesthetics.

Beyond yoga, Jan Michelle is passionate about neuroscience and women’s health, especially the deep transformations that occur across the female lifespan. She sees yoga as a way to connect not only with the body, but with something quieter and more creative within.
